Are you a youth between the ages of 12 to 17 with nowhere to sleep tonight? Are you running away or afraid you’re going to be kicked out? Are you in an unstable housing situation, couchsurfing with friends, sleeping outside, or temporarily staying in a daily or weekly motel? Are you in need of food, clothing, hygiene supplies, or someone to talk to? Do you feel that you are in danger?
If you said yes to any of these questions, call our crisis hotline available 24-hours-a-day at 1-866-U-ARE-SAFE (1-866-827-3723) to talk to someone and get connected to immediate help.
You can also visit our Drop-In Center Monday – Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., located at 4981 Shirley Street, Las Vegas, NV 89119 (near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway, across from the Thomas & Mack Center). Walk-ins are welcome.
At any time of day, if you find yourself in need of immediate help or are looking for safety and/or shelter, you can visit one of NPHY’s Safe Place locations which are available at any Terrible Herbst convenience store, City of Las Vegas Fire Station, or by getting onto any Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) bus and asking for help. If you need help finding the nearest Safe Place, call 1-866-U-ARE-SAFE and we can help you find your way. One of our trained Crisis Responders will meet you within 30 minutes of your arrival at a Safe Place site and get you the help that you need.
